►Personal Development

Personal Development can be thought about as the continual assessment of a person’s abilities, and improvement in their growth and awareness. The goal of personal development is to teach individuals, old and young how to learn to continually help themselves. The skills learned are designed to festor human development from within and develop sound competencies. Some of the competencies that are taught in our mentorship program are;

To help candidates establish self learning for themselves, our program uses formal and informal practices to help candidates to sustain a healthy lifestyle, become accountable and  maximize the talent, skills and potential to achieve their goals. Personal development is not a one size fits all. It is a unique process that helps candidates in different ways. Personal Development by nature is designed to help a person self manage their creativity, imagination, discipline, skills and talent in a fruitful, yet responsible manner. The skills learned, stretch across a multitude of areas in life, however not limited to; leadership, social skills, cultural awareness, work life, study, soft skills, behavioral management, vision building, competitiveness and goal achievement. A successful candidate will be able to possess personal accountability in all the areas of their life. Candidates will have the capability to 1) identify problems, 2) find solutions and 3) evaluate their outcomes. Learning how to following these steps, gives people the best chance at succeeding in life as an engineer, athlete, community leader, public speaker, entrepreneur,  lawyer, doctor, business manager etc. Our program is designed to allow candidates to cultivate a progressive mindset, positive attitude to learning, applying appropriate principles and the evaluation of self success.  This part of the program helps students with the conceptual side of learning and prepares them for the procedural and application in both the classrooms and in their personal lives.

► Networking

The Mission Enforced Foundation™ Life Skills program focuses on the key concepts to helping our students understand the value of Networking through different channels.  From Social Media to In Person Networking. We address the “Do’s and Don’ts” of networking and help to cultivate a confidence that each apprentice can use while building their network.  This part of the program highlights both procedural and application processes.

► Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy is the last key component within our Life Skills Program.  We here at Mission Enforced Foundation™ aim to help our students understand all aspect of financial literacy.  One of the reasons that Millennials are struggling in our competitive society today, is due to the lack of Financial Literacy Education in the secondary and tertiary levels within our school systems, as Freshman psychology major, Samantha Hammack at Louisiana Monroe stated, “Budgeting just hasn’t been a priority because I didn’t have to before I came to college, but I see the need now” (Hammock, 2018).   Our focus is to help future leaders have the capability to:

We take the student from the basics of setting up a checking account, to understanding how to increase their credit score.  From stocks and bonds to liabilities and assets. From direct income to residual and passive income, and everything in between.  All stages of learning, conceptual, procedural and applied, are integrated in this part of our program.
